Car Rental

Rental car booths are available on the lower level in the Plaza. Companies that service Amsterdam Schiphol Airport include Avis, Budget, and Europcar. On-site car rental lot is located within walking distance of the Main Terminal. Airport rental car booths are opened daily from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. Airline passengers are encouraged to make reservations in advance.

Public/Ground Transfer

Airline passengers can arrive and depart Amsterdam Schiphol Airport via bus and train. Public bus services transfer passengers to nearby towns and villages. Domestic trains offer the quickest way to reach a destination. Additionally, international train service is available at Amsterdam Airport. Public transportation zones are located near the arrival and departure halls.

Airport Shuttles

Airport shuttle services are provided by Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and several private shuttle companies. Large groups may request a private shuttle, or contact a hotel and request a hotel courtesy shuttle. Airport shuttles provide around the clock service and transfer passengers to and from the long term parking lot free.

Limousine Services

Airline passengers may request a limo or town car sedan from the ground transportation booth located on the lower level of the Main Terminal. Telephones are available. Several limo companies service Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Passengers are advised to make reservations in advance. Limousine pick-up and drop-off is located outside the arrivals area.

Taxi Services

Taxicab service is available at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Airline passengers can make taxicab reservations prior to arrival, or request a taxi upon arrival. Guests who make reservations should proceed to the Schiphol Transfer Assistance Desk located on the lower level in the Plaza. The Transfer Assistance Desk is opened 24 hours a day.
